Yes, get off at the central Bled bus stop. That said, if you get it wrong you can always walk back to the lake. Also, the Bled Mlino stop is at the other end of the lake than all the touristy shops, close to a large swimming area with a bit of a beach. There’s a small grocery store and the pletna boats have a small docking area at that end. It felt a bit more local at that end of the lake. When we were ready to catch the bus back to Ljubljana, we bought our return bus tickets outside the central bus stop, where the TI is. They had a square machine and took cards.
Just a world of warning that in the summer, the buses were packed!! We didn’t make it onto the first one in Ljubljana and then leaving Lake Bled, we almost didn’t make it out even though it was the second to last bus of the day. So give yourselves time and be flexible!
As others have said, the kremsnita cake is everywhere at Lake Bled - try a few! We went up to the castle (the TI will take you in a shuttle if you don’t want to walk) and had it at the cafe there, overlooking the whole lake and island. Perfect!
