Just wondering if anyone has experienced the "Escape Castle" game at Ljubljana Castle. If so, did you enjoy it? Is it suitable for a family with a teenager?
I did this with my two teens in 2018. It’s more of a scavenger hunt. You follow the course to various places throughout the castle and answer questions. At the end you use the answers to accomplish something. I won’t give it away. Don’t go into it thinking it’s like an escape room where you have to solve riddles to get out. It’s not. It’s more of a self guided tour.
It gives you a reason to go to places within the castle that you otherwise might skip. We got an answer wrong somewhere along the way and couldn’t finish on the first try. Had to go back and do one section over. My kids thought it was kinda cheesy. The exhibit in the castle about dragons is pretty cool. Read up on Jason and the Argonauts. Ljubljana is said to have been founded by him. You’ll see dragon all over the city.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. Will definitely look up Jason and the Argonauts! I am wondering if the "Time Machine" might be a better choice?
