Hello. I will be arriving Ljubljana airport beginning of April. Am planning on leaving for Lake Bled upon arrival, spending two full days in Lake Bled. What is the easiest way to go from the airport to Lake Bled? Easiest way from Lake Bled to Ljubljana city center? I'm not renting a car. Can anyone recommend private transport or is there public transport that I can take? Thank you.

Years ago when I went there was a regular bus from the bus depot. It was very easy! I'm sure someone who has been more recently will chime in with details.

There is a direct shuttle service between Ljubljana Airport and Lake Bled. Here is a list of the shuttle service providers at the airport: http://www.lju-airport.si/en/passengers-and-visitors/getting-here/shuttle/. Go Opti and ZUP serve Bled. Go Opti requires prebooking whereas ZUP has a few fixed departures as well as flexible departures that require prebooking. Alternatively, if you use public transport, you will need to first take a bus from the airport to nearby Kranj and once there change to a bus to Bled. From Lake Bled, the easiest way to Ljubljana is to take one of the frequent direct buses. There is also a train option but the train station on the line to Ljubljana is a few miles away from Bled and requires a short bus ride.
