Shout out to Barbo Palace Apartments and Rooms (aka Barbovi Palace). Spent several nights there in June 2023. Had a one-bedroom apartment, with a kitchen. A block from the river, downtown. Friendly staff.

Yeah, I just stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel Slon - central, nice rooms, great breakfast, and a nice bar, with snacks, to cap off the evening.

Deb D, Barbo did have an elevator. You could have a meal while waiting for it. My memory is it was small. Note also, the check-in office is around the corner from the actual hotel/rooms. I can't remember if the office was accessible. The room - it was more of a studio apartment, was large, no stairs - I think you could get around okay. When making my arrangements they were very responsive via email, I'm sure they'd answer your questions. Also, if I remember correctly, if you turn one way from the hotel to get to the riverfront, there are stairs; turn the other way, and I believe it was smooth. Any hotel, or the tourism office, should be able to help. Finally, I had a great tour guide, very experienced with the area, accommodated my interests - I bet she would be willing to help and design a tour for you if interested. Best wishes.
