Two of us will be arriving at Ljubljana's airport and want to get to a hotel near French Revolution Square. As we will be jet lagged, we don't want to drag our bags for more than a few hundred meters. The Rick Steves' Croatia/Slovenia book doesn't really make a specific recommendation. He lists a lot of options. I'd like a recommendation from someone with local knowledge. Would you suggest GoOpti, bus, mini-bus or taxi?
GoOpti (or any other shuttle provider) provide door to door transport, the only issue would be if your hotel was in the pedestrian zone. TFR is at the edge of it, so if your hotel is in the vicinity, you’ll have to walk for a minute or two at worst.
The bus would leave you on the opposite side of the city centre so not too useful without taking a city bus or taxi to your hotel, whereas a taxi straigjt from the airport can be quite expensive - about €40.
