Hello- Planning a trip to Slovenia/Croatia, flying into LJU 23 April.
We plan on 2 nights in Ljubljana, and 3 nights in Bled (maybe Bohinj, not sure yet). After that, heading to Trieste and 10 more nights, flying home from Zagreb.
Question is whether we should hit Bled first so we are there Wednesday-Saturday versus Friday-Monday.
I was in Bled late September 2019, and the traffic was bad, trying to avoid that. Not sure if this is an issue in April.
Traveling with my daughter/SIL and 2 year old granddaughter. I think that seeing nature first over a city is a nice transition to a good trip, so leaning towards Bled first. I'll explore with granddaughter when daughter/SIL want to go for longer hikes. Went to Spain together last year and had a blast.
