My wife and I will be without a car in Lake Bled, arriving and departing by bus. Getting around the city center and old town area will be by foot or bike. With this in mind, where would one recommend we stay?

We stayed at Pension Union - a simple hotel, includes breakfast. They have a restaurant which serves great dinners. We were there 3 nights and ate there every night. You can check it on booking.com to see if it would suit your needs. We had a car and didn't notice any bus stop but their site on booking says there is a bus stop in front.

We stayed 3 nights at Penzion Berc and you are minutes from the town and the bus stop.
