Greetings! We will be part of a choir tour that will be visiting in and singing in Viena, Ljubljana and Salzburg. Our itinerary has us staying in this hostel. I was wondering if anyone has stayed here. It looks like an adventure. The reviews I've read are mostly positive and I can put the negative reviews in perspective.
This will be a fun 10 day trip. The choir is from a local college. We will be joining other choirs to sing at various venues, but I think the performing will be secondary. This will give the students an opportunity to do a Studies Abroad trip and they will be able to get scholarship money.
We prefer independent travel and normally stay at inexpensive B&Bs, so we aren't looking for luxury accommodations. I have family connections to the college, my grandmother and her four sisters graduated from there. I also have various family members and friends who teach or have taught there. Finally I have ancestors from Salzburg and have always wanted to visit.
