Help decided whether to spend an extra day in Bled Slovenia area or Dubrovnik

This summer I am starting a trip to Croatia with 3 nights (2 full days) in Slovenia, Lake Bled area. I am ending in Dubrovnik where I currently have 4 nights (3 full days). We will be going to many wonderful places in Croatia in between but I am having trouble deciding whether I would do better with a 4th night in Slovenia and only 3 in Dubrovnik. One day there might be going to Montenegro. I have heard Dubrovnik is wonderful but super crowded. Wondering if being there will be more stressful than relaxing. But also seems like there is a lot to do and see including island excursions. Slovenia sounds beautiful and peaceful. I want to see the Julian Alps and Soca Valley weather permitting as well as enjoy Lake Bled. Mostly interested in nature there, although my alpine hiking days are over. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you have allocated only 2 full days to Slovenia, I think it's well worth spending an extra day or two there, or else you won't really have the time to venture into the Julian Alps or the Soca Valley, per your wishes. Dubrovnik itself can, in my opinion, be seen in a day or two, the rest of your time there will probably be spent on day trips.

Thank you. I am also thinking that if there is a cloudy day or two it will be hard to see what we want in the mountains. If that happens it would be good to have some leeway.

Slovenia for sure! Many other areas to visit and no need to hike. Look into seeing some of the great caves of the area.

We spent 4 nights in Slovenia - 2 in Ljubljana and 2 in Kobarid. We saw Lake Bled en route between the two which was enough time to visit the castle, take a boat out to the island and have some cream cake. Then we made a number of photo stops as we drove the pass and along the Soca to Kobarid. From Kobarid we hiked (flat easy hike to a waterfall and there is a WW1 history hike that I would not describe as alpine hiking), and did some river kayaking. And don't miss the WW1 museum if you like that kind of thing.

We also saw a lot in between... There is so much to see. It was one of our favorite trips ever.

So, you will have some tough decisions to make!
