Hello! We’re looking to hire a local guide in Slovenia who can give tours of the German-speaking Gottschee villages in the southeastern part of Slovenia, starting from the “capital city” of Gottschee, Kocevje. Any recommendations on Slovenian tour guides who might know this Gottschee history and area of Slovenia well? Thank you!
You may have already done a Google search and found these reviews online. Gottschee is a very specific, off-the-beaten-tourist-path area, so I'm thinking you may not get a personal recommendation from someone here.

It looks like she is based in that region, so I expect she would know it well. That Forest Detox experience looks pretty cool to me! I'm actually bookmarking it as a consideration for a return trip to Slovenia some day. I didn't make it to that area of the country during my 25 days in Slovenia in 2019. I would love to see the southern and eastern parts of the country!
Another review is from Trip Advisor in 2024: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g274873-d7191663-r972299213-Slovenia_4_Seasons-Ljubljana_Upper_Carniola_Region.html
That company is based in Ljubljana -- perhaps they work with someone who works in that area? https://slovenia4seasons.com/
