Food Tours are our new thing! We've done a few in different places in the US and abroad, and we're hooked. I see various tours in Ljubljana. Does anyone have experience with one of them and would enthusiastically recommend?

We took a private food tour with Ljubljana Yum in September 2024. https://ljubljananjam.si/
Wonderful tour to five different restaurants where we sampled various dishes. Each restaurant had a table reserved for us upon arrival. Tour lasted approx. 3 hours. Since our guide was a local, we learned about the history of the city & country. Highly recommended.

I would enthusiastically recommend Lubljana Yum tour. Pia, the person who owns the company, is part of a loosely-affiliated group of guides in Slovenia who try to provide travelers truly local experiences. It's a food tour, but you also get to see some sights as you move from place to place. It's easily the best food tour I have done, and I have done several.
