Hi, I'm planning a summer trip that includes one day driving in a rental car over Vrsic pass, down the Soca River, and then ending up in Vipava for the night. I know the water is cold, but I'd love to try swimming or at least sticking my feet in. Does anyone have a favorite place or places where they stopped along the river for swimming? Thoughts on Velika Korita, Sotocje, Koritnica, Idrijca, Most na Soci, others?
I'm also interested to hear everyone's thoughts on the best places to stop in general throughout this day. Already planning on doing the short hike to Kozjak waterfall, and there are so many other good options, but unfortunately we only have one day for this part of trip. . .
