Drive from Lake Bled to Postojna via the Soca and Vrsic pass. To much in one day?

Hello!
This September I'll be driving from Lake Bled over the Vrsic and Soca pass to enjoy the Julian Alps. I'll probably stop at various spots to take pictures and do a small hike or two plus eat lunch and/or dinner along the way. My end goal (and hotel) is Postojana. Google maps says this drive is just over 3 1/2 hours long. Am I biting off more than I should by trying to get to Postojana in one day? I'm wondering if I should stop for the night at Kobarid or Tolmin instead.
I've never been to Slovenia before and I just don't want to feel to rushed, but also I don't want to end up in Postojana by 1pm :) I'm planning on doing the Postojna Cave and Predjama castle the next day.
Any feedback is much appreciated!
