Does Best of Adriatic see Piran?

Does the Best of Adriatic stop at Piran? I see it stops at Pula and Rovinj and it says Istria but not sure if that is Piran?

The itinerary (https://www.ricksteves.com/tours/croatia/adriatic-tour) includes this sentence in the Day 4 description: "We'll then follow Slovenia's small slice of Adriatic Coast on our way to the rolling hills of Croatia's Istrian Peninsula." I think if a stop in Piran was planned, it would be mentioned. Piran is on the northern coast of the Istrian Peninsula in the sliver that belongs to Slovenia. Rovinj and Piran are on the east coast. Piran would require a bit of a detour off the 111 road and a more signficant detour off the E-751; those appear to be the major roads across Slovenian Istria west of Koper.

I assume if you call the tour office, they will be able to give you a definitive answer.

Thanks, I figured. Just thought I would ask since one of the day trips from LJU included Piran.

We didn't go to Piran, and I've never been there. If you like being by the water like I do, you might want to add a day trip to there prior to your tour. I loved the tour, but felt we were a little rushed on our seaside city stops in that area.

Was on best of Adriatic this September. As stated there is no stop in Piran you see the peninsula at a distance from the road on the way to, our tour stayed in Bale . I went before the tour to explore Slovenia more and took some great day trips. Slovenia explorer offers the Skocjan cave highly recommend ,a little strenuous or perhaps I was sweating from the heights of walking over the rushing river and the whole wonder of it all, and Piran on a very long day trip.
