So sorry- we had excellent experiences with GoOpti.

Two years ago we used Go Opti two or three times in Northern Italy and Slovenia. All went well. Lack of pick up undoubtedly impacted your day's plans and we hear your frustration. Are you absolutely sure you were at the correct spot? Could there have been some confusion or something lost in translation? Has the company responded to your complaint?

I am sorry for your experience. If I am supposed to meet someone at a specific time, I take a picture of myself, the location and my watch. I hope your claim is resolved to your satisfaction.

Sorry to hear this. Like Pat, I had a good experience with them last year. My group ride from Piran to Venice wound up being a private ride. They honored the ride even though I was the only one signed up for that time slot. I did have a bit of trouble finding my ride as the pick up location was in a large transport center parking lot with big buses blocking some view of the lot. I do hope the company responds to your satisfaction.

I was at the spot 30 min earlier than designated time.

Did you not see the bus when it came? If no bus showed up, then the question is were you at the correct place.
I see that there are several pick up locations to choose from on their website.

Sorry to hear about your experience. There are dozens of people on this board who whole-heartedly endorse GoOpti -- your report is the only negative one I have seen. The preponderance of evidence still strongly favors using GoOpti. I wish you well on finding an equitable resolution with the company.

I had a good experience with GoOpti. I think we communicated through WhatsApp.

Update: I did use it pre-tour for the RS Adriatic tour.

I doubt the OP is coming back. This seems to be getting more and more common, where first-time posters vent and trash the company anonymously. But most of them have no intention of engaging in conversation—their sole goal is to dump the bad review and move on to the next forum.

That said, it sounds like GoOpti is a good company and I would not hesitate to use it when I travel to Slovenia (possibly in a few years). So thank you all for the reviews and I will add it to my travel notes.

We had a very successful experience with a late pickup in at the Ljubljana airport. They were very organized and even airport staff knew where their pickup was located. We would use them again. I only chimed in because this is one of the options cited by others for people getting to the start of the Best of the Adriatic RS tour.

We used them to get from Marco Polo to Ljubljana for the RS Adriatic tour. We were late getting to the meeting point but they were there waiting. I hope the OP was able to make alternative arrangements. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again, or recommend to others.
