Desiring a private tour Guide to go from Lake Bled Slovenia up into the mountains

Slovenia Explorer and Roundabout are a couple companies recommended in the guidebook. They do organized tours, but also offer private services. I’ve been in contact with Slovenia Explorer and they were very responsive and friendly.

Did you actually use Slovenian Explorer, or just look into them? If you used them, what sites did
you use them to see? Thanks

We spent an amazing full day with Barbara B. from Tours By Locals on a custom designed tour from Ljubljana (Dražgoše, Jamnik, Radovljica, etc.). She may be willing to design a route custom for you and pick you up in Bled.

I used Slovenia Explorer for a private tour of Idrija (mercury mines), Franja Partisan Hospital, and Skofja Loka from Ljubljana. Great guide. Great tour. Great experience. A little pricey, but I would do it again.

I also did some tours from Bohinj with Monica and her sister Sabine. I actually spent parts of 4 days with these very pleasant young ladies doing hikes. They work for their mother, Elizabeta, who runs a company called Top Agencija in Bohinjska Bistrica. They can handle simple hiking to Triglav mountaineering (along with any team building needs you may have!).
