Covid entry requirements for Slovenia and Croatia

Hello- we are trying to plan a trip to Slovenia and Croatia this spring, and are having trouble figuring out the Covid 19 entry requirements. We are both vaccinated and boosted. The Slovenia website says that the vaccination certificate is only good for 270 days (which we would not meet). But the website (gov.si/en/news/2021-11-04-latest-information-on-non-essential-tr) also says a booster shot certificate is also good, and it has no limits on the booster certificate. But the Slovenian police website says that the booster must be within 270 days of the basic vaccination scheme, which my wife would not meet (policija.si/eng/newsroom/news-archive/103470-crossing-the-state-border-during-the-coronavirus-epidemic). The Croatian website (https://mup.gov.hr/uzg-covid/english/286212) says that the basic vaccination is good for 270 days, but that a certificate that we have the booster is also sufficient. But it does not say how long that booster certificate is good for or if the booster must have been given within a certain time of the original vaccination. All clear as mud. Any thoughts on how to figure this all out ? Also, I think that the CDC certificates are sufficient; anyone think otherwise ? Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Have you tried the US Embassy website for Croatia? I was there in Oct 2021 and my CDC card was sufficient. I took my second shot in May 2021.

I've looked at all of those websites, and all I found was what I initially said. Our plan was to go to Slovenia first, then Croatia. And I'd hate the uncertainty of not knowing if we could get in, not to mention the plane reservations, hotel reservations, etc. I know things could change, but it seems that at least there should be a way to figure out what the rules are now. But maybe not ?

With Slovenia and even Switzerland having dropped Covid-related entrance requirements, it’s likely that Croatia will soon follow. Currently the requirements are a Covid vaccination card ( CDC if you’re an American boosted within last 270 days/ 2nd shot within 270 days if not boosted). and a negative Rapid Antigen Test 24 hours before arrival or a negative PCR test 72 hours before arrival. Croatia, however, was among the most liberal with regard to restrictions when I visited recently and I think by the time of your trip, the restrictions will have been lifted. The website mup.gov.hr. has all the current restrictions for each European country.
