CDG question-connecting to separately booked Lubljana flt

I'm looking at CVG-CDG-LJU flights. I want to fly Delta direct to CDG but can't book the Lubljana leg through Delta so I'll have to book it separately. Looking at AirFrance flight operated by Hop!. When I arrive at CDG how do I check in with the Hop flight without having to go out of secure area? Thank you!

Could you book that flight on one ticket with Air France, which is a Delta partner? That would help.
Otherwise, with cabin luggage you should be able to get a mobile boarding pass and thus avoid exiting "landside", but I am not 100% sure - maybe someone knows better.

Thanks, Balso. Am hoping to book Paris leg through Delta to get the points and I’m a carryon only flyer. So no luggage to check.

Air France-booked flights will also earn you SkyMiles, since both Delta and Air France are part of SkyTeam.
If you need to use SkyMiles, then you might indeed be stuck with booking with Delta - but it could be worth trying to call Delta and see if the agent can add a CDG-Ljubljana flight to your award ticket.

Since you have carry on luggage, you just stay airside and change as you would for any flight. You can check in with your phone.

That should be a codeshare flight since Hop is part of Air France.

Hop! is Air France's regional carrier. Doing a dummy booking on the Delta website, I can book all the way through to Ljubljana on a Delta ticket (though the flight to Ljubljana is operated by Hop!). You'll earn miles on the Hop! flight like on a Delta flight. Assuming you buy a single Delta ticket to Ljubljana, you will be checked all the way through to Ljubljana when you check in at the Delta counter at CVG. I don't think the Hop! flight runs every day; options are available through AMS on Transavia, too (or at least this was an option in the past); the AMS to LJU flight does NOT earn Skymiles due to Transavia not being a Delta partner.
