We're thinking of taking a scenic route in October, using our own car, from Brussels to Slovenia and back the same way (more or less). This is what we have in mind and we'd be really grateful for your views! Keen to go via Liechtenstein purely because we've never been there.
Brussels -> Colmar, Alsace. Spend a day in Colmar, mooch around the town
Colmar -> Vaduz, Liechtenstein, driving via Basel, Luzern, Walensee. Spend two days in Vaduz, take in the sights/relax.
Vaduz -> Slovenia, driving via Inssbruck, Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Heiligenblut. Spend a week in Slovenia, touring around.
Back the same way.
Idea is to take the scenic slow road, not be in a rush.
What do you think about it?
Many thanks! :-)
