OK, I've been doing a lot of reading and bookmarking for our October visit to Slovenia. I know I read about a small bar, near a hiking trail, that a man has set up in a field. Of course, I cannot remember where in Slovenia this might be exactly although I have been mostly looking at places in the Kobarid and Bohinj areas. I was sure I book marked the page where I read about it but no. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I thought I would come back with an update. After asking on another forum, 2 people were able to inform me that the place I was looking for was Slap Kozlak near Kobarid. The small bar is run by a man Nick near the Kozjak waterfalls. When you near the waterfalls there are signs directing you to his bar.

I don't remember a bar near Slap Kozjak, but enjoyed the walk and seeing the war bunkers. Near Bohinj, there's a hike at Mostnice Gorge to Slap Voje. There is a bar/restaurant at Slap Voje. It's a great hike, not sure how the weather would be in October.
