We will be traveling with a group of four adults for three weeks in Slovenia this September. We all use walking sticks on hikes about 60% of the time. Bringing them from USA would cause us to have to check at least one bag. We prefer to not check luggage but can if need be. Our first stop is Ljubljana. Will we be able to find a place there to buy them there for a reasonable price? Other thoughts?
Sports Direct in Ljubljana has a large variety sports gear including hiking poles at good prices.
Decathlon, a French inexpensive sporting goods store which is all over Europe and the UK, has two stores in Ljubljana where you can find what you want.
