Hello all, I booked a 1-night stay in Bratislava for July.
I'm not sure at what time I will arrive in Bratislava as I will be traveling by train all the way from Graz, Austria.
I'll probably arrive at 5-6 PM. Then, the next day I have to catch a bus from UFO/Most SNP bus station to Vienna airport at 4 PM. My check out time is 10 AM.
According to my calculations I'd have about 4-5 hours (hopefully more) during my day of arrival in Bratislava and about 4-5 the next day, so 8 to 10 hours, probably more but you never know with trains or how tired I will be to get up early.
I wonder if I'd have enough time to visit the Blue church, probably hike the UFO tower, walk around the Eurovea promenade etc.? Do some back and forth trips between the old town and Petrzalka, I loved how you could walk over the mighty Danube just like that. I would also like to buy souvenirs.
I booked a room in a commie flat in Petrzalka. I lived in Bratislava for a year and rather quite liked walking or jogging around the canal in Petrzalka nearby. I was in Petrzalka almost every day due to the wide open, usually green spaces, despite never having rented there.
So, considering I'm staying near the Technopol business centre (Kutlíkova bus stop), would you say I'd be able to do all that?
I'd like to buy some Slovakia-branded T-shirts, fridge magnets, etc. I spent a whole year living there and yet didn't buy any of those. I had an amazing time and met so many fantastic people, I'd like to take some souvenirs home with me this time. But would about two half-days be enough for it all?
Thanks!
