We took the train yesterday. While on the train, they announced that there will be no train service between the two cities from early March to early December due to maintenance/upgrades to the system.

Beginning Monday March 4 that is true for Bratislava Hlavna station, but trains will still be running to Bratislava Petrzalka station on the west side of the river.

No big deal. You can catch a bus in front of the Vienna train station for the 39 mile trip.

At the end of our trip, we were planning to take the train back to the Vienna airport from Poprad. Does this mean our train would only go as far as the Bratislava Hlavna station? So we would get off there and take the bus back into Vienna?
