I've followed the discussion of this question about multi-day guided trips in Romania (in the General Europe forum), and have the same question for Slovakia. How much should I tip a private guide/driver for a multi-day trip?
From what I have been able to discern, tipping isn't cultural in Slovakia. But, I can afford it and have received many blessings in life, so I would do maybe 10 euro a day if the guide were charging local prices (cheap), maybe nothing if the Slovak guide were charging what my French guide charged. Nothing if he/she was no good or twice as much if I was invited home to meet mom.
Thanks Mister E. Last time I did tip, slightly less than 10% if I recall but more than 10 euros/day. Might have been too much, but at least it wasn't too little.
