Someone recommended this film elsewhere in the RS forum, and they were so right. It was filmed in Slovakia and won an academy award for best foreign film. Very moving, and well worth tracking down. I got a copy through interlibrary loan, but I think it's available for purchase online.

The Shop on Main Street is available on Amazon here, but not on Netflix as far as I can tell. Your local library is always a good possibility. At mine there is sometimes a $3 fee, but they can get material from anywhere in the country.
