If you are going to be in the Kezmarok area in early July , this is one of the best festivals we have ever been to. Handmade crafts galore, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish dancing groups. Its an amazing event. It runs July 7,8 and 9th. More than 50,000 people attended last year. Well worth the trip.

We go to Slovakia almost every year. Mostly to visit relatives. Its a wonderful country with many places to see. You will also be close to Spis Castle and Levoca, also must sees. Stara Lubovna and Orava both have amazing castles.
We have relatives in Croatia and visit family every year. I love a local festival. We have been trying to get to the strudel festival which is the first weekend in September. This year we are going September 2. Can’t go earlier due to Dr appointments. 2024 our daughter and grandkids will meet us in Croatia in July. I’m going to try and figure out how we can get there before they arrive. Don’t have set dates with them yet so maybe…..
