This may be a little out of your way but i am not sure of your itinerary. Motorest Salas u Franka. Its in Stara Lubovna. We have eaten there a couple of times. Traditional Slovak food. Large portions and very good. You will find most restaurants in Slovakia are very good. They typically serve local specialtys . At lunch which is usually the main meal they will have 5 or 6 specials. It will include soup and main course for about 8 or 9 euros. Arrive early because the locals will be there and when somethings gone its gone. But its always fresh and has local ingredients. Not all the processed and frozen stuff we eat in the US. I hope this helps. Enjoy.
