I am going to Paris this December and if I get laid off from my job (again) it would be the day that I fly to Paris.....then I am planning on extending my vacation and going to Budapest Hungary then Bratislava Slovakia. I won't be able to plan more than 1 week ahead, so is it realistic to think that I will be able to find a decent (and cheap-like a hostel) place to stay at such short notice or will I have to skip going to what seems to be a lovely town. Thanks for any tips!
