Any recommendations for a good breakfast spot in Bratislava in the old town or close to the train station?

Whether you're sleeping in Bratislava or in Vienna, are you coming from a hotel or apartment that doesn't provide breakfast?

We are taking the over night train from Krakow and arrive 5:30 am in Bratislava. Looking to spend a few hours there, grab a bite to eat then head off to Vienna for the rest of the day.

Sorry, Justin but the train station is out on the edge of town. You might have to pickup a bite there, as there's not much around it.
Be careful taking taxi's in that city, as you'll be given an all over trip of town--rather than a straight trip downtown. If I had it to do over, I'd be taking a city bus to my hotel.
