Would love some information on how to travel between Bratislava and Budapest. Which company to use? Do we need to book in advance? Thank you in advance.
We went in the opposite direction, from Budapest to Bratislava, but took the train and were very pleased. Comfortable, and took under three hours. We always buy tickets in advance, but it would depend on which month you are going.

We took a bus. We used student agency which I believe now is called Regiojet. We booked in advance.
We have a trip from Bratislava to Budapest then to Vienna in early October. I'd like to do at least one segment by boat. Is that possible and if so which part? Or better just to take the train? Thanks
You can contact Mike who is recommended by Rick Steven.
You can use Twin City Liners between Bratslavia and Vienna.
