My husband and I will be in Bratislava for a long weekend in April; we haven't been before. We are planning to try the Bratislava Flagship Restaurant, Mecheche (the tapas place), and a soup place that friends suggested, but do any recent travelers have other ideas?
We're also beer and wine aficionados, so any brewery/ craft beer suggestions, or wine bar ideas, would also be welcomed.

We ate at Flagship and it was wonderful. The beer is great . The food reminded me of my grandma’s cooking.
We only did a day trip. We had just finished a RS trip but didn’t bother to bring the Bratislava information that was in our RS guide. Duh. We were at a total loss as to where to eat when we got there. We asked a shop keeper what he would suggest for lunch and he told us about Flagship.
My suggestion is ask locals about where to go and you may uncover some hidden gems. That, along with getting recommendations from this savvy forum group, you will have some great options.
