Belgrade and Tirana hotels

I kind of dislike making lodging recommendations, but I stayed here in Tirana in 2023.

It was a nice bnb and of my 2 stays in Tirana, it’s the one I would return to. It’s not quite city center but not too far. When the gate to the garden opens, it’s gorgeous.

Not much English, I was up one flight of stairs, no elevator, cash payment, but it was really a pleasant stay.

I only replied because I know how hard it was for me to figure out places to stay in Tirana.

I stayed really cheap in Belgrade. You can do better and I probably would too if I ever returned.

So, just because I am curious and love this part of Europe….Are you seeing all of these places as one long trip? And did you wind up with tours, private drivers, just public transportation, or a combo?

This would make a great trip report when you get back! But I’ve been back through your posts and you haven’t replied to any comments on any of your questions. It sounds like an epic trip!

The Belgrade and Tirana hotels are in Slovakia?

I stayed in pretty sweet hotels in both; they were both either a 4 or a 5; but its been a few years so my memory is fuzzy and I dont have the names handy. Tirana was by Skanderbeg Square which is where I would want to stay again ... for maybe one night. The other, in Belgrade, was by Republic Square. If I missed a connection or needed to stay in Belgrade again, I would probably do the same hotel. But neither is a bnb so not what the OP is looking for.
