Which isle to visit from Oban

My husband and I will be traveling with our one year old son (Teddy) and staying two nights in Oban. I don’t think Teddy will have enough patients to do the recommended Oban to Mull to Iona day trip.. so I am wondering if a day trip to just Mull is worth it? Or would it be better to go to a different isle for the day from Oban? We are looking for great views, easy hike, a good restaurant (open on Monday), and a beautiful beach.
I am all ears for suggestions! Thanks.

Mull is beautiful and Calgary Beach might make a great day trip, however Mull is almost all single track roads and can be curvy and slow-going. Not sure if that makes sense with a 1 year old, but the view from the beach is spectacular.

If you do go the Isle of Mull Cheese Farm in Tobermory is a great place for lunch on your way to/from Calgary Beach.

Kerrera, just across Oban Bay.

The few people on this forum who have been commentate on the views and the great hike on the south end of the island, and the tea room.
But no one ever turns right off the ferry to the totally different North end where the beaches and the marina is. They have a good restaurant.
And run a water taxi, if pre booked straight back to central Oban.
It really is an island of two halves.

Or Lismore. Drive up to the foot ferry at Port Appin, which no one except locals knows about, not the car ferry from Oban.
Wonderful walking on island, and a seasonal tea room. But back at Port Appin there is the Pier House Hotel. The drawback is that one of you would need to be the nominated driver.
But wonderful views, and at a location unknown to many.
