Walking Tour Recommendations!

Planning a solo trip to the UK for this summer 2025 and am hoping to do a walking tour of Scotland, ideally 9-10 days moderate difficulty - would greatly appreciate any recommendations for guide companies or routes as there are so many on the internet and I don’t know where to start!
Thank you kindly

Hi, elledebell92,

One of my co-workers has done two hiking tours with Hillwalk Tours, and said that the hikes were excellent, and the baggage transfer went extremely smoothly. She and her husband prefer en-suite facilities, and that was never a problem.

Happy hiking, and Happy New Year!

As a fan of long distance walking in the UK, I wholeheartedly recommend Absolute Escapes based out of Edinburgh and Mickledore based out of the Lakes District. My daughter and I are actually doing the 10 night, 9 day Cleveland Way in N. England in June 2025 and booked with Absolute Escapes. We wanted to walk either the Lochness 360, Great Glen Way or the Kintyre Way (all of which are in Scotland), but did not want to fight with the midges, so we’ll do a Scottish ldw in April or September of 2026 when they are not an issue. Hope this helps and happy walking!
