Value Added Tax

We will be traveling for two weeks in Scotland followed by another two weeks in the Republic of Ireland.

Do we seek to get VAT reimbursement in each country separately or do we do it in one fell swoop in Dublin at the end of the trip?

We've done the reimbursement in Dublin before and it's a simple process of swiping the card at a kiosk. Same in Edinburgh?

You claim at the point that you exit the EU, so Dublin. This may change after Brexit, of course.

and you can only claim for items you have bought and are unused when you leave the EU.

so no claiming for things you have consumed like concerts, hotels and meals nor for clothes that you have worn.

Thanks for the prompt and helpful advice.

Does Scotland have the Horizon card for VAT? We've used it in Ireland before.
