Vacation by Rail

Please be cautious with this company! The Trip Advisor Train Travel forum is littered with complaints about Vacation by Rail. I am on Trip Advisor a lot. Here is a link to the Train Travel forum search results for Vacations by Rail. The 1st thread that comes up is SIX years old and has had people posting complaints as recently as last November. FYI, if threads havent had activity in 6 months or so TA closes them so people can’t continue to post, meaning this topic has been active for the whole 6 years.

The company called Railbookers also has similar dismal reviews.

Was there a reason you thought booking your train journeys yourself would be difficult?

Why not just book train tickets from the train operators?
