UncleGus: a question you might be able to help me with !

Hello: I'm flying in to Edinburgh airport next week, and would like my friend to possibly pick me up at the Ingliston Park n Ride instead of paying the exorbitant "waiting" fees charged to cars at Arrivals.
I can't find out if there is a free shuttle to the Park n Ride from the airport, or do I get the #35 bus from the airport to the P. n R.?
Secondly, once I find out how to get there, where is a good spot to wait so I can spot my friend, and vice versa, at the P n R. ?
UncleGus: I'm hoping you may know the answers to these questions!
I'd take the tram, but it doesn't take me to a useful part of Edinburgh. (No Tram comments, please. ;) )
Thank you!

Tram takes you to inglston park and ride but will cost £5 per person.
35 bus stops at the park and ride and costs £1.60 per person ,exact change required,if using the buses later in the day just buy a £4 day ticket
https://lothianbuses.co.uk/timetables-and-maps/timetables/35
there is a sort of waiting room at the park and ride so just meet there the bus stops right outside.
The 35 bus stop is quite close to international arrivals and the tram a good 400 yards firther away.
one solution to the charges is for your friend to wait at the park and ride and you to phone them when you are through arrivals, should takes them just a couple of minutesfor them to go to the drop off -Pick up area and a similar time for uou to get there, will only cost £1 if you are there for 5 minutes or less.

That was quick! Thanks!
I won't have my phone working, as our Canadian phone companies charge exorbitant fees to use overseas.
We are very backward that way....
I just use WiFi in Europe.
Anyway, I'll hop on a 35 and wait at the stop at the P n R.
I used to live in Edinburgh, but not for 30 years, so it's all different now!
Thanks, again!

Btw free wifi in the Airport and on the buses and trams but the bus wifi varies from being ok to totally crap and by the time you get logged on to the system you are getting off the bus anyway.
Loads of free wifi all over the city.

sorry can't promise anything, beginning to get quite chilly in the mornings and once the sun goes down but as we have had a very wet August hopefully September will be better.
I am sitting here trying not to put the heating on tonight so extra fleece jumper on and a very large glass of Macallan single malt should help.

And I am sitting here putting together a scrapbook for my parents of our trip to Scotland in August 2016 for the 50th wedding anniversary, and wishing I were back there!!!

Maybe some single malt would help, come to think of it . . .

We absolutely loved our trip to Edinburgh in May and the free wifi everywhere was the best bonus of the trip. That and the music in almost every pub almost every night. I want to go back!!!
