Uig Harbour, Skye will be closed again this autumn/fall from 30 October to 11 December for Phase 2 (of 2) of the Harbour improvement works.
This will affect the ferries to North Uist and Harris.
Timetables are yet to be announced but last winter services to Harris were cancelled, and those to North Uist operated from Ullapool instead, with increased services on the Mallaig/Oban to South Uist service.
The Ullapool to Stornoway service was also retimed due to the extra traffic and only one berth at Ullapool.
Citylink also provided extra coach services to Inverness in connection with the diverted sailings.
