I saw a website that recommended driving clockwise around the peninsula rather than counter clockwise. Do you think that would be advantageous as far as traffic flow and maybe crowds? We are going on a Saturday in mid September.
Since you're driving on the left, clockwise means you'll be on the outer side with a more unobstructed view of the shoreline. It's kind of like driving Highway 1 through Big Sur in California, in which case going south puts you on the outside.
we did it counter clockwise. I'm not sure it matters. Nice tea room in Uig if you are there about lunch time. Traffic was not a problem. We were there in late September
