Travel from Stirlng Scotland to Liverpool England

By train, look up the options at www.nationalrail.co.uk

Train in both cases-

Edinburgh to Liverpool- Train from either Edinburgh to Preston or Wigan North Western (alternate hours). Change for a train from Preston or Wigan to Liverpool Lime Street.

The reason for the difference is that the train from Edinburgh go alternately to Manchester Airport (when you change at Preston) or London Euston (when you change at Wigan).

From Stirling you can either go to Edinburgh then the above, or go to Glasgow Queen Street, then the 5 minute walk across town or the free bus 398, then a TransPennine direct service several times a day from Glasgow Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
