What is the easiest way to get from Galway to Scotland? No car at this point, want to keep driving to a minimum. We will be touring the whole Country so are flexible as to destination.

Look into flights. I've not done it, but from all the forum responses I've seen, it's the quickest and easiest. There is a ferry from Northern Ireland.

Shannon Airport is probably the best choice from Galway. As Pam says, the other routes, mainly by train or bus via Dublin and Belfast could easily eat your time as would getting from the ferry in Stranraer up to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
