Train - Glasgow to Dundee

I will be traveling to Scotland in September.

I will be flying into Glasgow and then taking a train to Dundee.

My questions are:

1) If I wait to buy my Scotrail round trip train ticket when I get to Glasgow, is it the same price as buying in advance on line?
2) Is there a train terminal at the Glasgow airport? I've seen conflicting information. The Scotrail website actually lists a Glasgow Airport Train stop.

Thanks!

One way walk up fares are £23.20. That’s what you’ll pay if you buy on the day. Buy online now and you can get an Advance ticket from £7.30, though you must take the booked train.

There’s no train station at the airport – take the airport bus to Queen St station.

Hi, Jerry,

The nearest train station to Glasgow Airport is Paisley Gilmour Street. It's such a hassle getting there, especially with luggage, that you're better off taking the #500 express bus to Queen Street station. Cost is 8 pounds. The trains to Dundee run very frequently, and the travel time is generally less than 1 1/2 hours.
