Tours in Inverness

hello the house.

So, my people are from the outer Hebrides and I won't have time to visit there - it is simply too far and too complicated - instead, i plan to do a night (maybe two) in Inverness via train from Edinburgh as I will not have a car. I'd like to visit Brodie castle and Culloden (and anything else I might have time for between trains. ) Any suggestions for tour groups or are these easily accessible by bus? Thanks to all.

My husband and I signed up for a Rabbie's tour to Culloden. (It also went to Clava Cairns, Glen Affric, and Beauly Priory.) If you could fit in another day, Rabbie's does have a 3-day tour to the Outer Hebrides. Their 1-3 day tours from Inverness can be found here.

Stagecoach 2 service runs between Inverness and Culloden Moor. You can find the timetable here. There may well be other services.

Brodie Castle isn't so easy as you would have to get bus or train to Nairn and then a taxi (it's about 8 m iles).

Close to Culloden Battlefiled and about 30 minutes walk are Clava Cairns.

Mind you the Rabbies tour described in post 1 would be really good. The ruins of Beauly Priory are lovely and Glen Affric is one of the most scenic glans in Scotland.
