In few weeks, my husband and I will be in Edinburgh for 3 days/2 nights. Wish it was more! Planning on covering many of the recommended sites during the day, but thinking about a couple of tours at night such as a food & drink tour the first night and an underground tour the next. Any recommendations on a specific tour or company? Also, would like a recommendation for some pubs with live music. Thanks!

No one has replied yet :-( Looking at the vaults tours, I see daytime or night-time "haunted tours." Was thinking evening because we will have limited daytime hours. Which tour do you think would be better? Would like a well done tour and wonder if the haunted tours would be too hokey. Would also appreciate any suggestions for pubs with live music. Thanks!

I enjoyed the poet and pub walk that RS recommends, edutainment. I also found tours to book up quickly! I hope you nail down one or two.
