read your post to another re: planning a trip to Scotland. I'm keen to see some of the Outlander movie locations, of course, but wondered if there is a castle in the Edinburgh area (or nearby) where we could stay over night.....a real castle not a 5 star luxury remake. I wish to experience true history. Plan is to travel at the end of September this year for two weeks. So much looks incredible to see and take in. A mix of open spaces and deep history are our flavor. Wondered if we might communicate direct.
