Is Tillicoultry worth visiting? If so, what are the highlights? Thank you!

I think you are the first person to ask this question. What has made you pick on Tillicoutry? Is this for a day trip or are you thinking of basing yourself there for a few days?

Doing a google search the first thing that comes up in Tillicoultry is the Affinity Stirling Mills shopping outlet... There is Tillicoutry Glen which is a lovely walk , althought he Walk Highlands website says the walk is currently closed after the first bridge.

There's more information about the town here, along with some pictures. It's a lovely setting on the edge of the Ochills. It's close to places like Sterling, Castle Cambell, Kinross for Loch Leven, Drummond Gardens, Crieff ...

I have some cousins who live there so it’s worth it for me but I wouldn’t call it a big draw for most people :-) My mom grew up in Alva which is the next town over. Stirling is a great base to explore that whole area. Plenty to see and do there and if you do end up exploring the Hillfoots towns, I recommend checking out Castle Campbell in Dollar and getting lunch at the Inn at Muckhart which is a nice little pub in the area.
