I will be traveling from Clansman Hotel in Loch Ness to Fort William. The options seem to be: taxi, rent a car or take the bus.
I know you can't take large suitcases into the bus but can the bus driver store your large bags under the bus in the storage area?

The Citylink buses allow one piece of 'hold' luggage that the driver stows for you and one small carry on item.

Thank you. Unfortunately their website hasn't posted ticketing dates for the end of May yet. Who knew it would be so difficult to get from Loch Ness to Fort William! Any other suggestions how to get transportation? Solo traveler, not driving.

You will be fine on the bus. It's the direct route from Inverness to Fort William. Plenty of buses every day. There's no rush you can book once you're here in the UK.

Tickets are available until 21 May, so only another week or two to wait for release. There is plenty of time yet. Tickets are even available on the day of travel, so there is no need at all to worry.
