Suggested One Night Stay from Skye to Edinburgh

I’m looking for suggestions for a convenient and lovely one night stay en route from Skye to Edinburg. We will be traveling by car.

My personal preference would be either Pitlochry or Dunkeld. Small towns with eateries and decent scenery around.
