Our last stop before a 6:00am flight departing Edinburgh will be in Stirling. Rather than drive to Edinburgh to drop off our car and spend the night, might we be able to return the car in Stirling and take a taxi to EDI at 3:00 am?

You might be able to have the hotel arrange a taxi for you. You can check with different rental companies to see which has a place to return a car in Stirling and what its hours are to see if it would even be a possibility. Personally, with that early of a flight, I’d stay at a hotel by the airport.

why not try and arrange to return the car to Edinburgh airport the night before and stay in an airport hotel
