I had a friend visit Scotland a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed to find access to Steall Falls closed. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is still closed. Also, is there a site that provides updated information on hiking trails? We plan to do quite a bit of hiking on our trip and I would like to plan to avoid such closures if possible. Thank you!

Other suggestions for a nice morning hike on the way from Oban to Fort William? I wasn’t sure if we would have time for Lost Valley. Steam train trip at 12:50. I know I’ll wish we had more time in Glencoe area!

FWIW, on April 28th it was open - we hiked there. Didn't see any signs about closure dates or maintenance.
